Vancouver’s outdoor community experienced an outstanding array of fourteen films in two programs screened over three consecutive evenings. The focus of this year’s filmmakers included skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, mountain culture, rock climbing, expedition mountaineering, sea-kayaking and white water paddling. For added variety even fly-fishing and caving films made it into our programs. Fabulous feats! landscapes! stories! music! Congratulations to all the athletes and film-makers. Thank-you Vancouver for making the Banff Mountain Film Festival – World Tour a huge success. We hope you can join us for next year’s adventures. the third year running the Vancouver Section of the Alpine Club of
Canada has hosted the Banff Mountain Film Festival – World Tour. Our
team of volunteers ensured that each of our three evenings ran
smoothly. All three nights sold out in advance!
