Ignite your passion for adventure, action, and travel! The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour will exhilarate you with amazing big-screen stories when it comes to the Rio Theatre in Vancouver on November 29, the Centennial Theatre in North Vancouver on November 30, and the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver on December 1st. Journey to exotic locations, paddle the wildest waters, and climb the highest peaks. Be taken away to the most captivating places on earth.

The 2012/13 Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings films from the 37th annual Banff Mountain Film Festival to about 285 communities around the world. From an exploration of remote landscapes and mountain cultures to adrenaline-fueled action sports, films in this year’s world tour are sure to captivate and amaze the explorer within you.

Be moved. Be inspired. Don’t miss out. Last year's shows were sold out. This stop on the world tour is hosted by the Alpine Club of Canada, Vancouver Section.

How and where to buy your tickets:

• Online via PayPal (click on Add to Cart buttons below), $18 per ticket (includes HST). NOTE: To claim your tickets, bring your email confirmation of payment from PayPal to the Will Call table one hour before the performance.

• At ACC, BCMC or VOC club meetings

Starting November 1 at the following outlets:

• Rio Theatre, online or at the box office, 1660 East Broadway, Vancouver

• Centennial Theatre, online or at the box office, 2300 Lonsdale Ave, North Vancouver

• Vogue Theatre, $22 per ticket (includes HST) online or at the box office, 918 Granville Street, Vancouver

• Mountain Equipment Co-op stores in Vancouver & North Vancouver

Like last year, we will offer 2 distinct programs. Program A will be offered at the Rio Theatre on Thursday and repeated at the Centennial Theatre on Friday evening. A substantially different program B will be offered at the Vogue Theatre on Saturday evening. Watch this space for details as they become available.
