MEETINGS & SLIDE SHOWS IMPORTANT NOTICE: As of July 1, 2009, detailed information on all trips, camps, courses, meetings and other events will be on the new Interactive Calendar (iCal). Please refer to iCal for specific meeting times, dates & locations. During this transition period, if there is a discrepancy between this page and event information in iCal, the information in iCal will be considered accurate. More details >> ------------------------ The ACC-Vancouver Section holds monthly meetings in the Floral Hall at Van Dusen Gardens (West 37th & Oak Street in Vancouver) every 4th Tuesday of the month (except July, Aug and Dec) starting at 7:30pm. There are usually 60-100 people at a meeting. Visitors are most welcome to attend and there is no need to pre-register. The typical meeting begins with a few minutes of announcements (club news, upcoming events, access issues, trip reports), followed by a slideshow by a member or special guest. The slideshows are on a range of topics - hiking, climbing, skiing or trekking to local and international destinations. The typical meeting ends with beverages and a chance to socialize... meet friends, swap stories and get inspired for more outdoor adventures. The Annual General Meeting is held on the 4th Tuesday in November and begins with a pot-luck supper at 6:30pm.
